Am I high maintenance? I wouldn't think so. Am I a gold digger? Far from it. Was I born in the wrong century? Absolutely.
Lets pretend for a minute men, that you go on a wonderful first date. You have stimulating conversation, you laugh a lot and it's just an overall good time. You even want to see her again, and soon. What do you do?
Call me old fashioned, but I think sending flowers to the young lady is a wonderful idea. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't need to be any grand expression of your undying love for the girl. Just a simple sweet gesture to show her that you had a wonderful time and were thinking about her.
To me, a text message at the end of the night, or the next day just doesn't cut it the way a cute little vase of flowers would. If you're semi serious about this girl, why not make a good impression right out of the gate? I think it's a nice little gesture that all men should try, even if it's just once. It can't hurt, and you will be pleasantly surprised!
PLEASE NOTE: This does NOT apply in stalker situations. Girls who are being stalked do not like flowers OR text messages. Just to make that perfectly clear!

You are a quite an entertaining blogger! I love it :) And, yes - I absolutely agree, chivalry is pretty much dead now and days. But I am glad my hubby doesn't count. Make sure the guy asks you what flowers you like in the beginning of a relationship.
