This is Life

Have you ever felt like everybody's life was moving at an astounding rate compared to yours?

And then there are those who seem to never have their act together no matter how old they are.

Oh the pressure. The unnecessary pressure to live the American dream. The FRICKIN' AMERICAN DREAM!

Take your time, live your life. You're only going to be able to do it once and by making rash decisions and lowering your standards you're just bound for an unhappily ever after; either with some stranger you thought you loved once, or even by yourself.

I am so thankful that I know the love of Jesus Christ. That I am able to be happy in mostly any situation because I know there is a plan for me. I'm not constantly looking for the next best thing, the bigger and better, the greener grass. I know that each day is a gift, meant for me to fulfill my purpose, my reason for being. Giving my talents to those less fortunate and being the change I want to see in this world.

My time in the sun will come, and boy will I shine. But for now, I'm perfectly content being a star among the moon.
