"Shame Shame Shame I Know Your Name"

Shame on ME, shame shame shame!

Those of you who frequent my blog are aware that I attempted and completed the P90X workout plan this spring. For 90 days straight I pressed play and "brought it." This resulted in a weight loss of 10 lbs and a much much tighter body (see picture below.)



I know I'm not fat. It was never an issue of me being "fat", it was an issue of "I'm not tight and toned like I want to be." Well, after that 90 days, I stopped. I stopped working out all together, and stopped eating all the healthy yummy food that I had grown to love. Silly me, I thought that once I had obtained an ideal body for me, that I could stop what I was doing and it would stay that way. WRONG.

Apparently you need to keep doing what you're doing in order to stay the way you are. No, I didn't gain the 10 lbs back but I'm definitely not that girl in the purple bikini picture that was taken only 2 months ago.

So today I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to Sir Mix A Lot's Baby Got Back (yes, that song is my motivation) and did my hour work out. I don't think I'm a morning work out kind of girl, but we'll see.
